Sam
Sam is one of the most driven, competitive and passionate individuals you will meet. Combined with his ingrained integrity, enhanced and developed at the Merchant Marine Academy, there is no one you can trust more than Sam to get the job done and ALWAYS do what is in the best interest of the customer.
He has always been a top producer and held numerous leadership positions over the years. At one point, he ran the #1 retail branch in California in addition to managing retail mortgage branches that closed in excess of $1.5B annually for a large mortgage bank.
Sam and his wife Mary are blessed with four wonderful children, Jack, Jane, Grace and Belle. In his free time, he enjoys competitive softball, football, and golf. He is a sought-after expert speaker in the mortgage industry as well as an avid real estate investor.
Gaylord-Hansen Role
Sam has a background as a college football player with a degree in mechanical systems engineering. This experience has been invaluable for the Gaylord-Hansen Team in setting up the appropriate systems and processes to an ever complex and changing mortgage industry.
He focuses on developing and maintaining systems, tools and resources to serve our clients. This could be fine-tuning processes to provide for a better client experience, or improving workflows to keep our organization healthy and thriving. No matter where you’re coming from, you will immediately feel Sam’s genuine passion for serving others.
