About the event

Gaylord-Hansen’s Women’s Financial Fitness is a FREE series that empowers women by helping them achieve financial stability and homeownership. This series is designed for women at any stage of life. There will be guest speakers and women experts from different industries covering budgeting, credit, investing, the homebuying process, home organization, goal setting, and more!

What to expect

This session of Women's Financial Fitness is "Goal Setting: Designing actionable steps to reach your goals" and features guest speaker Jessica Zaragoza with the Gaylord-Hansen Team!

We'll be covering:

  • Ways to break out of and expand your comfort zone
  • Creating S.M.A.R.T. goals for yourself
  • Tricks for staying accountable for your goals and forming new habits
  • Importance of practicing self kindness to overcome obstacles

About our guest speaker

Jessica Zaragoza

Community Outreach Director | Gaylord-Hansen Team at loanDepot

Jessica Zaragoza wears multiple hats in life. She is the Community Outreach Director for the Gaylord-Hansen Mortgage Team at loanDepot and the Program Director for their nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the GH Community Foundation. On top of that, she is also a mom, wife, and superhero in training. She is passionate about making a positive impact in the world and is the happiest when empowering others to unlock their full potential, step out of their comfort zones, and live their best lives. She believes compassion & kindness matter. In support of this, she completed a Mindful Self Compassion course at UC San Diego’s Center for Mindfulness and will soon begin UCSD’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher training in the spring. When she’s not trying to save the world, she can be found off the beaten path with her hiking group, A Bunch of Wanderers; meditating; volunteering in the community; or cheering for her son at his football games.
